no fucking question why these are the hardest boots on the planet. I havent owned a pair since middle school.

Going on record saying that these are probably my favorite air force 1’s… and for many reasons…
back in middle school i’d say around 2001 – 02, there was a huge air force craze, every boriqua and hood dude around miami lakes / carol city had them (I’m sure everywhere else as well! Nellys “air force 1″ song only juiced up the hype!). And you were LEGIT when you had a fresh pair of white mids. I had a few pairs, I was a broke kid and moms or pops didn’t buy me shit for shoes.. (must be why I have so many now) but forces in ‘01 – ‘02 were the hype in middle school next to buffalinos and hush puppies (nobody really wore wallabees in junior high down here, sorry NY) and this pair of shoes were the “shared” pair amongst our friends.. yes, we shared 1 pair of forces, or just kinda handed it down… We called them the bumble bee’s, even though they werent striped. One of my friends had it for a while then passed it on to me, used and all, but I Loved em… with the metallic key chain indicated its authenticness “NIKE LE”. Those were the days for forces, nowadays most forces look and feel like shit. Back then the cushioning and the look and the leather used and the different colored stitching, ahhh so amazing, its what made me love Nike and shoes in general… I had the blue stitching the red stitching with a white base, shit was so clean and classic. Then everybody forgot about them, but I didn’t. I still love you Air Force 1. Still on the hunt for some ‘01 classics, they always run cheap… (where are you black highs with the gum bottom? i miss you)
